杜宇慧教授近十年来一直从事人工智能、医学图像处理、大数据分析领域的科研工作,在计算机、信息、医学等学科交叉前沿的脑影像分析领域取得一定成就。

杜宇慧教授2009年9月至2013年1月在中国科学院自动化研究所取得模式识别与智能系统专业博士学位,就读于模式识别国家重点实验室、中法信息及自动化与应用数学联合实验室(国家级国际联合研究中心),师从中国科学院“百人计划”入选者范勇研究员,同时受到国家杰出青年基金获得者、“百人计划”入选者、973项目首席科学家蒋田仔研究员的指导。2013年5月至2018年8月,她在美国The Mind Research Network脑影像研究所的医学图像分析实验室先后担任该研究所的博士后和PI(Principal Investigator)研究员职位,师从著名教授Vince D. Calhoun。Calhoun教授的论文引用率超过四万次,带领的团队在神经影像领域在国际上享有盛誉。

至今,杜宇慧发表英文文章61篇,中文论文9篇。发表SCI收录英文文章35篇,发表在包括《NeuroImage》、《Human Brain Mapping》、《Nature Communications》等顶级杂志上。其中影响因子大于4分的有23篇,影响因子大于7分的有7篇,SCI论文的影响因子总和约为172。发表EI收录文章13篇。以第一作者或通讯作者发表25篇,其中一篇为ESI“高被引论文”(引用率位于前1%),且入选研究前沿(Research Front) 论文。目前,谷歌学术显示:杜宇慧的论文总引用率为1555,h指数为17,i10指数为29。

杜宇慧主持国家自然科学基金“基于动态脑功能网络分析发掘精神病的影像标志”和山西省青年科技研究基金面上青年项目“基于静息态脑功能核磁共振图像识别精神分裂症、双相情感障碍和分裂情感性障碍”;曾参与国家自然科学基金面上项目“基于脑影像的精神分裂症定性诊断与定量分析的模式识别研究”、国家自然科学基金重大研究计划“基于神经影像的脑网络分析方法及其在神经退行性脑疾病研究中的应用”、美国国家国立卫生研究院项目(NIH,National Institutes of Health grants R01EB006841)、美国国家科学基金项目(National Sciences Foundation grants 1016619)、美国生物医学研究卓越项目(the Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) grant 5P20RR021938/P20GM103472),以及美国国家精神卫生研究所项目(National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Grant R37MH43775)等多项项目。

杜宇慧开发的“组信息指导独立成分分析”脑影像分析方法已被集成到国际上广泛使用的脑影像分析软件Group ICA Toolbox (GIFT)中(http://mialab.mrn.org/software/#gica),为该软件组独立成分分析的三大算法之一,该软件已被下载一万多次。杜宇慧两次获得脑影像领域最顶级组织--国际人类脑图谱/脑成像学会(OHBM)颁发的“Trainee Abstract Travel Awards”这一重要奖项,该奖项颁发给在脑科学领域做出突出贡献的年轻学者,获奖率仅为top 5%。杜宇慧提出的组信息指导ICA算法获发明专利“适合多被试脑功能数据分析的个体脑功能网络提取方法、和软件著作权,开发的软件可满足精神科医生及科研工作者应用要求。杜宇慧参与编著教材一部。

杜宇慧是约30种国际著名杂志和会议的特邀审稿人和两个国际杂志的编委。审理的刊物包括Nature Communications (SCI影响因子约为12)、The American Journal of Psychiatry (SCI影响因子约为14) 、Schizophrenia Bulletin (SCI影响因子约为8)、Neuroimage (神经成像期刊类排名第一)、Human Brain Mapping (神经成像期刊类排名第二)、IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning System、IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering等。2015年,杜宇慧在EMBC国际会议(美国)进行口头报告。2019年,杜宇慧论文在ISMRM国际会议(加拿大)进行口头报告。杜宇慧在The Mind Research Network研究所工作期间带领NeuroMark团队下的博士后和博士生从事科研工作。杜宇慧与The Mind Research Network、耶鲁大学、德州大学西南医学中心、哈佛大学、中国科学院等国际知名单位合作,进行精神疾病的医学影像标志探索研究。
