Tianzi Jiang

Since April 2001, Professor Jiang returned to China to work in the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition of the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to carry out the work of “Introducing Outstanding Foreign Talents”, and to establish the Medical Imaging and Computing Research Group. Professor Jiang is the winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the candidate of the 100-person Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the researcher of the Institute of Automation, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the doctoral supervisor, Professor Jiang is associated with Brainnetome Center and National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition again as a full Professor and the Director and Professor of Queensland Brain Institute and Centre for Advanced Imaging, University of Queensland, Australia, and an Adjunct Professor of Zhejiang University, and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Professor Jiang is associated with Brainnetome Center and National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition again as a full Professor and the Director and Professor of Queensland Brain Institute and Centre for Advanced Imaging, University of Queensland, Australia, and an Adjunct Professor of Zhejiang University, and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

Professor Jiang has made a series of creative research results in the intersection of information science and life sciences such as biomedical imaging and computational and bioinformatics. He has published more than 150 papers and more than 100 papers published in international journals (including Brain, Cerebral Cortex, American Journal of Psychiatry, NeuroImage, Human Brain Mapp). More than 90 articles are included in SCI, and many research papers have been cited by leading journals in this field (such as Nature Reviews Neuroscience, Journal of the American Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Neuron, Journal of Neuroscience, etc.).

Professor Jiang is currently the editor of eight international journals, including: IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (2006 Impact Factor: 3.757), International Neuro Imaging Journal (NeuroImage) (2008 Impact Factor: 5.694), Computational Imaging and Vision series of German Springer. He is invited reviewers for more than 20 internationally renowned journals in the field, as well as the chair of some important international conferences (such as the chairman of the MICCAI'2010 conference) and a member of the procedure committee, members of the Technical Committee Member, Senior Member of the IEEE Society of Signal Processing, and standing members of the Psychiatric Neurological Committee of the Chinese Society of Neuroscience) Member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Neuroscience.
