On July 12, 2019, professor Yuhui Du from School of Computer and Information Technology of Shanxi University went to Suzhou to attend the the 6th Medical Image Computing Seminar.

The first Medical Image Computing Seminar (MICS) was held in Shenzhen University in December 2014 at the initiative of professor Dinggang Shen, a famous scholar in the field of medical image and professor of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In 2019, MICS will fully combine its appeal and continue to invite famous experts and scholars in the field of medical imaging at home and abroad and young scholars with outstanding achievements at home and abroad to give special reports. Adhering to the tradition of no registration fee for MICS, MICS will provide an open platform for more scholars in this field to communicate. The conference will pay more attention to the combination of medical and industrial services and invite experts from medical fields, especially radiology departments of hospitals, to participate in the conference and make speeches. We will also invite more business colleagues to join us, so as to promote the development of the whole medical imaging industry.

The purpose of the conference is that the application of medical imaging in clinic is becoming more and more extensive, which plays a very important role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Medical image processing and quantitative analysis can provide important support for clinicians to make accurate diagnosis, make treatment plan quickly and evaluate treatment effect effectively. Medical image analysis is a highly interdisciplinary field of scientific research, and its development requires the cooperation of researchers in medical, electronic information, computer, physics and other fields. Medical imaging in the field of international seminars, for domestic and foreign scholars and experts in the field of an opportunity to further communication, looking for cooperation opportunity, and to help young scholars in domestic academic research family, will promote the development of medical imaging field, while increasing in suzhou in the field of domestic and international influence.
